Control.Proxy (gb.qt4)
Return or set the "proxy" of a control.
When a control has a proxy, it will duplicate all mouse and keyboard events of the proxy for itself.
I.e., if the proxy raises a KeyPress event, then the control will raise it too.
Moreover, the
SetFocus and
HasFocus methods will actually act on the proxy.
Use the proxy when you create a compound control based on a
UserControl, with one of the child
handling all mouse and keyboard events.
For example, the class
ButtonBox, a
TextBox and a
Button, uses its inner TextBox as proxy.
You see all events raised by the TextBox as if the ButtonBox has actually raised them.
